Public Prosecution Service gives away stolen goods: "Shops often don't put them back"

The Dutch Public Prosecution Service donated seized stolen goods, including toiletries and cutlery, to Stichting Moederskracht in Amsterdam Nieuw-West. Retailers often refuse to take back recovered items because their condition cannot be guaranteed, leading the authorities to donate the products rather than destroy them. The foundation will distribute these items to local residents who receive food packages.
