Major unrest among GVB staff after introduction of new planning system

Employees at Amsterdam's public transport company GVB have launched a petition protesting the implementation of a new automated planning system called HASTUS. Staff report that the software, introduced in June, has resulted in increased workloads, erratic schedules, and a loss of flexibility compared to the previous human-led planning process. While GVB management claims the system was intended to provide more autonomy, the labor union FNV is now investigating the widespread unrest among the workforce.
