'I am doing this now to support the Jewish people.' For the first time in over 200 years, the gravestones at the Jewish Cemetery in Overveen are being restored.

For the first time since its opening in 1797, dozens of volunteers are restoring the gravestones at the Jewish Cemetery in Overveen. The project involves cleaning weathered stones and repainting inscriptions to ensure the names remain legible as a gesture of support for the Jewish community.
