Filmmakers follow Red Light District underworld for 42 years: "A nail in my coffin"

Filmmakers Arnold-Jan Scheer and Roy Dames are releasing their documentary "Het Hart van Amsterdam" after 42 years of filming the city's criminal underworld. The film documents the evolution of the Red Light District and the Zeedijk, contrasting its lawless past with its current sanitized state through the lives of figures like Frits van de Wereld. The documentary premieres tonight and will be available in cinemas starting tomorrow.
