The original medieval Stadhouderspoort, located in the garden of the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam, is currently being restored after sinking more than thirty centimeters over time. Engineers are using a specialized hydraulic lifting process to straighten the historic structure to ensure its long-term stability.
