Judge finds ‘accidental’ €23 million bid on Hoofddorp ghost hotel implausible: ‘At own risk’

A real estate trader from Lelystad has lost six properties after a court rejected his claim that a 23-million-euro bid for the Hotelux Amsterdam Airport Hotel in Hoofddorp was a typing error. The judge ruled that the bid was the trader's own responsibility, finding the excuse of an accidental overbid to be implausible.
