Pumpkins are ready for autumn, but customers are not: "I'm gutted"
Ornamental pumpkins at the De Beemgaard care farm in Zwanenburg have ripened unusually early this year, leaving the owner struggling to find customers interested in autumn decorations while it is still summer. The farm, which also collaborates with the Amsterdam-based pickle producer Kesbeke, is currently balancing the harvest of these early pumpkins with their seasonal pickle production.
