The founder of the Chinese real estate company China Evergrande Group has been sentenced to life in prison for fraud and bribery. In addition to the prison term, all of his personal assets will be confiscated following his guilty plea.
Unemployment in the Netherlands rose slightly to 4 percent in July, up from 3.8 percent in June. This increase represents a total of 404,000 unemployed individuals, with a slightly higher rise observed among men compared to women.
