Ajax women's football team achieved a commanding 8-0 win, putting them on the verge of qualifying for the Europa Cup main tournament. They are set to play the deciding away leg in Kazakhstan on September 30.

The Ajax women's football team secured a dominant 8-0 victory in their recent European qualifying match. Captain Sherida Spitse opened the scoring with a penalty, followed by two goals from Katja Snoeijs. Swiss player Ella Touon recorded a hat trick, while Daniëlle Noordermeer and Jade van Hensbergen completed the final score. This win brings the team significantly closer to qualifying for the main tournament of the Europa Cup.

Ajax is now preparing for the away leg of this two-match series, which is scheduled to take place in Kazakhstan on September 30. If the team maintains their lead, they will advance to the round of 16 in October. The Dutch club entered the Europa Cup competition following two narrow defeats against Real Madrid during the Champions League qualification rounds earlier this season. Other Dutch teams, including PSV and Feyenoord, also achieved home victories in their respective second qualifying round matches this Wednesday evening.
