Macklemore says Free Palestine tour is sold out instantly

Macklemore has announced that his upcoming Free Palestine tour dates in Dublin, London, and Paris have completely sold out. This project comes shortly after the artist was removed from Ed Sheeran's tour due to his outspoken stance on the Palestinian conflict.

American artist Macklemore has announced that his upcoming concert series, titled Free Palestine, has sold out immediately. The performances are scheduled to take place in Dublin, London, and Paris later this month. Macklemore stated that the high demand reflects a global commitment to the Palestinian cause, noting that the shows aim to demonstrate how musicians can use their platforms for fundraising and collective action.

This announcement follows recent controversy involving Ed Sheeran, who removed Macklemore from his tour after the rapper made pro-Palestinian comments on stage. The decision led other supporting acts and members of Sheeran's backing band to withdraw in protest. While Sheeran maintained that the move was not his personal choice and emphasized his desire to remain apolitical, his actions drew significant public criticism. Macklemore's new concerts are set for October 26, 29, and 30, with further details regarding the supporting lineup expected to be released shortly.
