Actress Sophia Bush reveals in new memoir that she secretly got married

Actress Sophia Bush has revealed in her new memoirs that she secretly married her partner, retired professional soccer player Ashlyn Harris. The couple held an intimate, private wedding ceremony in New York State, with only Harris’s children in attendance. Bush shared that the decision to keep the event small was intentional, as both women have spent their adult lives in the public eye. By avoiding the pressure of a large celebration, they were able to focus entirely on their family and create a relaxed environment for the children. After the ceremony, the couple traveled to personally share the news with their loved ones before confirming their marriage status to the public. Bush, who met Harris in June 2023, expressed her joy in finally being able to refer to Harris as her wife rather than her partner. This marriage follows the couple's respective high-profile divorces, with Bush having ended her marriage to Grant Hughes and Harris concluding her four-year union with Ali Krieger.
