Publishing house ‘In de Knipscheer’ to close after fifty years of pioneering: ‘We were always focused on unheard voices’
The Haarlem-based publishing house In de Knipscheer is closing this week after fifty years of operation. Known for promoting diverse and unheard voices, the publisher is ceasing activities following a planned retirement announced by founder Franc Knipscheer. The company was run as a small, dedicated team including Knipscheer's wife Anja and editor Peter de Rijk.
