Public Prosecution Service prosecutes two for assault and discrimination on VU campus

The Dutch Public Prosecutor's Office is prosecuting two 25-year-old students for assault and discriminatory behavior occurring on the Vrije Universiteit campus in Amsterdam last November. The suspects allegedly attacked a fellow student after being confronted for singing a Nazi song and used racial slurs during the incident. The legal action follows a period of criticism regarding the university's response to previous reports of harassment involving one of the suspects.
