Unemployed professional footballer allowed to evict tenants from his home in North

A Dutch court has ruled that an unemployed professional footballer can evict tenants from his apartment in Amsterdam-Noord so he and his family can move back in. The judge determined that the owner has an urgent need for the property as he has no other housing options in the Netherlands following the end of his career due to injury. The tenants must vacate by June 2026, provided the footballer pays them moving costs and occupies the residence himself.
