Water boards to say no more often as climate forces their hand: 'We are no longer the handymen who will just fix everything'

The Rijnland Regional Water Authority has announced it will be more selective and say "no" more frequently due to the pressures of rapid climate change. Dijkgraaf Rogier van der Sande stated that the organization is shifting away from its traditional role of fixing all water-related problems to focus on more critical choices.
