Traffic controllers and multiple road closures due to expected Easter crowds

The municipality of Amsterdam has implemented traffic measures, including road closures and navigation app adjustments, to manage expected congestion during the Easter weekend. Traffic controllers will divert non-local drivers away from the city center when major parking garages reach capacity. These actions aim to prevent the recurring 'Bijenkorf-file' traffic jams near the Amstel-Rokin-Damrak area.
