Stabbing perpetrator unsuccessfully complains of police violence and is now missing

An 18-year-old man was sentenced to one month of juvenile detention for a stabbing and theft in Amsterdam, though he currently remains missing. The court rejected his defense's claims of excessive police violence during an arrest near Nieuwmarkt, ruling that the officer's actions were not disproportionate. Due to the suspect's lack of legal residency and previous convictions, authorities intend to re-engage social services immediately once he is located.
