The skûtsje must be cut in half: The Van Dril family's battle over a historic boat fifty centimeters too long

The 116-year-old skûtsje 'Feije' has been forced to leave its mooring at the Nieuwe Gracht in Haarlem after the municipal harbor service ruled it was 50 centimeters too long. The owners now face a difficult decision to either shorten the historic vessel or permanently lose their assigned spot.
