Cabinet amends weapons law and mandates psychological testing

The Dutch cabinet is amending the Weapons and Ammunition Act to mandate a psychological examination for both new applicants and current holders of gun licenses. Justice Minister David van Weel also announced plans to introduce stricter rules for storing weapons at home and more rigorous requirements for weapon knowledge.
