From passenger van to passenger cargo bike: "A few steps backward"
The Regenboog Groep in Amsterdam has replaced its drug user bus with a mobile cargo bike after local protests forced the bus to be taken out of service. While the bike allows staff to maintain contact with users and provide basic supplies, it lacks the indoor facilities the bus previously provided for safe drug use and personal hygiene.
