Moldy homes: many reports are addressed but not resolved
An independent report on Amsterdam's mold eradication program reveals that while inspections have become faster, structural issues in many homes remain unresolved or receive only temporary fixes. Residents cited poor communication and a lack of trust as major barriers, resulting in a low satisfaction rating of 5.1 for the city's current approach. Despite a goal to be mold-free by 2030, approximately 43% of reported cases are still not settled within three months of the initial complaint.
