Boil water advisory for two Amsterdam streets lifted: no more bacteria in drinking water
Waternet has lifted the boil water advisory for two streets in Amsterdam after tests confirmed the drinking water is once again free of bacteria. A separate advisory remains in place for over 200 connections near Kastelenstraat in Amsterdam-Zuid, where further updates are expected on Monday. The contamination, involving E. coli and enterococci, likely occurred during maintenance work on the water supply network.
